“Teaching this class as the first offering of Tyndale Classical Institute in the Spring of 2025 was such a joy. Our students couldn’t wait to come back to class each week. My focus in this class is to light a spark in your child’s eye for beautiful words in Christ; it’s my goal to cultivate a desire for language learning.”
Beginner Latin: Level 1 offers an introduction to the world of language learning to students in grades 3-6. Tyndale Classical Institute uses a unique approach to language education by pairing grammar with real, comprehensible examples in the target language. Students don’t merely memorize tables and songs, they gain fluency in the language while also mentally forming the language’s grammatical structure. This makes for an incredibly joyful and effective Latin education.
Begin mastering the basics of the Latin case system.
Build a vocabulary of ~100 Latin words.
Develop a love of learning Latin and language.
Classes meet once weekly on Fridays from 3:15–4:15 p.m., running for 13 weeks from the 2nd week of September to December, with a break for Thanksgiving Week.
While the regular price for a class at Tyndale Classical Institute is $650 per term, the institute is offering an 80% Scholarship for the Fall 2025 term to allow families to “test the waters” and see what Tyndale Classical Institute is all about.
So, the price for a class in the Fall 2025 term is $130.
